both hand towels and air dryers are somewhat environmentally unfriendly -
you should let your hands dry naturally, or wipe them on your clothes. air
driers could be redeemed if powered by renewable energy; handtowels if they
were recycled before and after use. even single-use towels are poor,
because they require detergent and electricity to wash.
